Indonesia has an awesome landscape and not many people expectation. There is a period where Sumatra, Borneo, and Java are still one land. Similarly, Papua and Sumatra are also one mainland, while Sulawesi (Celebes) stands firmly to be its own island. Approximately so geologists tell the shape of the face of the earth of Indonesia in the past.

Another story with the story of archaeologists who examine the origin of humans, especially who the ancestors of the people of Indonesia. The theory of Out fo Africa tells, in 100,000 years ago there was human migration from Africa to all corners of the world. From the fossil evidence found in several places in Indonesia, humans arrived in the archipelago about 39,000-40,000 years ago. Before humans (Homo sapiens) came in the archipelago, there is already a first coming of the Ancient Man (Homo erectus) which is now living fossil only.

From History there are 3 periods of human arrival to the archipelago. The first period is melanesian race, the second coming is austronesia through Malaya and the third is austronesia through Taiwan. What is interesting is the migration of people from Taiwan to the Philippines, then enter Sulawesi, split into Borneo, Java and East Indonesia and this trip is known as the theory of Out of Taiwan.

Topic of Sulawesi, is the first island in the archipelago to stop by the ancestor that runs from Taiwan, across to the Philippines and Sulawesi. In Sulawesi, there is evidence of the history of past life, and the famous one is in the leang-leang cave in Maros District, South Sulawesi. This prehistoric evidence reinforces the alleged origins of ancestors in the archipelago.

Easter Island located in the southern Pacific Ocean has a legacy of Megalith laws that the rest of the world almost knows about. 600-year-old megalithic sites are found here to make this island famous all over the world. Indonesia also has a megalithic sites which until now is still easy. In East Nusa Tenggara there are still many giant stone graves, but in Sulawesi there are large statues that are similar in Easter Island.

Napu Valley in Lore Lindu National Park, Poso District -  Central Sulawesi  became one of the megalithic sites. Actually many megalithic sites in the valleys of Sulawesi Island, especially in Central and South Sulawesi. Napu Valley which is a giant size bowl at an altitude above 1,000 m above sea level in Central Sulawesi. Here found some Megalithic sites in the form of statues that resemble Humans.

The size of the statue is still around 1-1.5m while in the valley of Bada there are up to 4m. It is said that according to historians, these stones are made in 3000-4000 BC. According to Kompas.com "The data of Tourism and Culture of Central Sulawesi currently has 432 objects of megalith sites in Central Sulawesi spread in North Lore and Lore Selatan, Poso as many as 404 sites and in Kulawi District, Donggala Regency as many as 27 sites".

It is unimaginable that 3,000-4,000 BC civilization in Sulawesi is based on Megalithic evidence. The archipelago has a long history, and is not inferior to the history of the world, but it has not been fully explored. Megalithic sites totaling more than 1,000 witness mute the long journey of the ancestors from the land of the middle of nowhere to all corners of the archipelago.
